Comfortable Accommodations in Brattleboro, Vermont

I stopped here for the annual ski jump, and I was pleasantly surprised! Although the property may be quite dated, it's still well kept. The room was clean and quite large, and the bed was very comfortable.<br><br>As a hotel guest, I had access to the spa which was fantastic. Sauna, steam room, warm pool, hot tubs, all very nice.<br><br>Then in the morning, there was a standard hot hotel breakfast, and in a world where check-out keeps getting earlier, it was nice to see another 11AM check-out again.

Rooms are older but very clean and comfortable. Pool area was clean and the water was heated, which is a plus considering this was a winter visit. Very satisfied with the included breakfast as well. Food was fresh and of a good quality. I had an enjoyable stay, and the receptionist was also very warm and welcoming.

This property is an older property and has 2 types of rooms. I booked with super.com. When I checked in, the gentleman was very friendly, gave us the key and we went to the room. Now, I did not expect this. It smelled like pee and I would not have stayed in that room even if it didn't. I did not feel safe. I went back and told the gentleman the issues. He explained that I booked the cheaper room and they have better ones. He gave me a key and a great room for only $20.00 more. It was big, warm, very clean, and included breakfast. If you decide to stay there, just make sure to book the correct room. 😉

Felix at the check-in office was friendly, welcoming, and professional . After we checked in and went to our room, our tv cable was not working properly, and we called the office for help. Within a few minutes, Felix came to our room and fixed it. I can not say enough about this place. It may not be considered a 5 star motel, but we were very satisfied with not only the service. The room was clean, bed, comfortable, and fresh, and the bathroom very clean with awesome shower water pressure. Everything we needed! We are looking forward to staying there again next time we are in VT. Thank you !

I forgot my watch in my room and the front desk got my call and kept my watch until I came back from Stratton at the end of the day. This is 5 star service. The staffs here are the reason this place is great! Thank you Colonial Motel. Next time I will come back for the spa.
